				I was born and spent my formative years in
				Lexington KY. I attended
				Lafayette High School, 
				and danced as a memeber of the
				Lexington Ballet 
				Company. In 1987 I moved to Cincinnati to attend the
				School for Creative and 
				Performing Arts where I graduated in 1988. I then attended 
				the Universities of Cincinnati 
				and Kentucky, and earned a BA 
				in psychology, and was very active in the Episcopal Diocese of 
				Lexington, and Province IV Episcopal college activities. In 1994 
				I moved to Boulder Colorado to attend the
				Boulder College of Massage 
				Therapy, and became a nationally certified massage therapist 
				in 1995. After massage school I apprenticed with herbalist
				Brigitte Mars, 
				and began pre-med classes. In 1998 I moved to the Seattle area 
				to attended 
				Bastyr University.  
				I graduated from Bastyr with degreees in both
				naturopathic medicine 
				and acupuncture in 2003.  
				Following graduation I was awarded a teaching fellowship at 
				Bastyr and began my private practice.  I am currently in
				private practice at the
				Evergreen Center for 
				Integrative Medicine and teach at Bastyr occasionally as 
				adjunct faculty.
